Nice place and relaxing atmosphere. Clean and well maintained. Food is really good but nothing extraordinary. The price is on the high side.
Great place to sit down and relax while eating great food. Chicken fried rice, rainbow roll, dragon roll and tiger roll. The Dragon roll was amazing! Great taste, satisfying crunch and portion size was on point. High quality and value for the lunch we got, it looked and smelled so good that we couldn’t wait to start eating and didn’t get a full picture. I’m very happy and can’t wait to return!
Fantastic sushi/hibachi spot, the price belies the quality of the food; the service is astute and quick, and the vibe is definitely there. If i could give it six stars, i would
Hibachi was lacking flavor and although we asked for medium on our steak we got well done. The rice was nice and sticky but still had no flavor. The same goes with the lo mein- dry chicken, and lacking flavor unfortunately. Portions were ok, not worth the price considering other "cheaper" options are similar in portion but definitely better flavor. Great atmosphere and nice people, good place to sit down with kids.
A perfect Asian fusion style restaurant in the outskirts of Rockfish and Raeford, Mega Hibachi offers a large variety of food that would appeal to any crowd.
The inside of the restaurant is nice and relaxing, with plenty of space to eat and a variety of seating to choose from. They play jazz and lofi style music to add to the chill vibe, and everything was very clean throughout the restaurant.
The service was great, with a very friendly cashier and the food delivery within ten minutes of ordering. The food was brought straight to our table, order by order (we went with a group of friends), but all were delivered to the table within minutes of each other.
The food itself was delicious and cooked to order. I got the steak yaki soba cooked medium rare, and it came out perfect. The steak itself was flavorful and tender, the noodles were soft and not too chewy, and the vegetables were cooked well.
The food is absolutely AMAZING!!! A must eat place. Portions are more than enough. Seasoned to perfection. Definitely part of my restaurant rotation.
I ordered through postmates. The issue was the restaurant though. I ordered the "shrimp teriyaki bowl". On the menu description on the restaurants website & postmates, the shrimp teriyaki bowl is served with hibachi rice. My order did not contain any rice it was just a bowl of shrimp. First time eating from this restaurant not a good 1st impression.
Very nice. We made an intentional Sunday evening trip to try the food and were pleased. We went with veggie options in a teriyaki bowl, sushi rolls and yakisoba. All were good, and the service was both prompt and pleasant. They did slip in a little tuna on our veggie rolls, but hey, we didn’t announce we were vegan, so no harm done.
The dining area is surprisingly elegant for an “order before being seated” place. Deep dark wood and tasteful upholstery on the booths and chairs. Clean and comfortable.
The only thing keeping this from a 5-Star rating is the inconvenience in getting to the restaurant and shopping center. There is no direct connection to the divided highway which fronts the property, and no signs directing guests to the access road. Okay f trip was intentional, and we made 3 passes to get there. You might see the place, but unless you live in the apartment complex behind it, you won’t stumble across anything in this center.
